A Few Emails from Among Sisters.

Friday afternoon emails...

Colorado...
She's in Colorado. Even though this looks totally deserted.

Ohio
Thank you, Google images.

Mel's Window
Our little cousin.

*Fun fact: As you can see by our names, my siblings and I were named after Gone With the Wind, my mother's favorite movie/book.

Now excuse me while I commence my exciting Friday night of Chipotle and Baby Mama.

  1. Awww, dontcha just want to gobble up those cheeks?

I think you were part of the "tide" in the late '70s/early '80s that turned everybody from thinking Ashley was a boy's name (from GWTW) to a name more associated with girls today. Same thing with one of my cousins!

  3. I have to admit, I've been staunchly refusing to see "Baby Mama." My sister LOVES it, but she's also a huge Amy Poehler fan. I've warmed up to Tina Fey a great deal these days, so I would almost give it a shot, but it just sounds like SUCH. A. BAD. MOVIE. How did you like it?

  4. :o) Love the emails you all have sent to one another. The photos are beautiful!

My cousin was named Tara after GWTW as well. And my aunt also named her cat Ashley after that movie as well.

    Have a good weekend!

  10. I love that someone else is from a household that was a big fan of "gone with the wind" growing up. :)
