Guess What?

I'm taking Saturday classes for 8 weeks. In graphic design (the starter courses for a certificate, so...baby graphic design. Which, from the looks of my exclamation points, is just where I should be starting.)

And the best part? My work will PAY for it.

Hell yeah, professional development.

(Reason #271 my boss is a ROCK STAR. Plus, she's already looking for projects where I can use my "design skills." Be still, my heart.)

I'm so giddy.
___________

In other news, our wedding cake top was PURE DELICIOUSNESS. I am not even joking, it tasted like an icing-caked donut. Amazing. The only problem was, after getting a FOUR COURSE MEAL at The Melting Pot, my stomach was about to explode. So the added cake meant I was still full when I woke up this morning. Oh, gluttony. {Our mantra was: "You only have a first wedding anniversary once!" So we ate like there was no tomorrow.}

I have always dreamed of going to the Melting Pot - a delicious fondue restaurant- but never before have gone. It was everything I've dreamed of. Dark chocolate fondue with marshmallow cream and Oreos was the best thing I've ever tasted. If I ever am forced to chose a last meal - that will be it. Yes, fondue can to be a meal!

  12. You ate the cake on top of that dinner? I'm glad it was good!

    You make the Melting Pot sound so good. I live close to two but I'm not sure if it's fun for the milk-allergic.
