Irony. Also, Me Minus Makeup +Wet Hair.

The day after posting about how we reduce our costs and live [somewhat] simply...

taken in photobooth, hence the quality. but: PHOTOBOOTH. i'd buy the computer just for that.

(In our my defense, our other Mac is quickly dying. And Mike considered this an investment in my baby graphic design business. Wait, I don't design babies. You know what I mean, right?)

  1. You are so cute with that big old grin on your face. Congrats on the new purchase. It most definitely is an investment and well worth it. Quite justifiable in my book.

  6. We decided awhile ago that our frugality does not cross over into work-related stuff. We put a priority on having good "tools" and don't feel guilty about making those purchase (or at least try not to - I always have buyer's remorse). A new computer and design software is totally an investment in yourself!

  7. I haven't seen someone smile that big in a very long time. :]

Congratulations on your new edition, haha. I say that because most people look at buying a mac as the adding to their family, like a child or a pet or something.

Jonathan has been wanting one for AGES, but they're so darn expensive!

    But yay for you!! :]

  24. I am green with envy over here. And hey, if it's an investment in a fledgling business, can't you get a tax write-off for part of it? I'm just saying...

  26. I think it's a good investment. You need something like that to do the graphic design work you want to do, sooo it all adds up. (:
