Little Nubs from the Conference.

I just got back from the conference and I am too entirely exhausted for a long post.

Instead, I want to share with you a few quotes from the speakers that I found somewhat inspiring or useful.

We don't ride a roller coaster to get to the end of the roller coaster.
We don't go on vacation to get to the end of vacation.
We don't take a class to get to the end of class.
It's all about the process.
{As someone who's always planning ahead and looking to what's next - I needed to be reminded of that.}

Leadership is doing what needs to be done, when it needs to be done, whether we're asked to or not.

The more you put into it, the more you get out of it.
{Duh, right? So cliche, but so missing from my work and personal life. I can't complain about anything if I don't try really hard.}

  6. love these quotes! They remind me somewhat of Seth Godin's blog. If you haven't ever read his stuff, I think you would like it. It is geared toward marketing people, but it is always fresh and innovative. Just google his name. :)
